kh_mod 0.1.0 to 0.4.10 the following requirements to run:

− Any current web browser
− A web server with PHP 4.3.0 or better (as of kh_mod 0.4.7 you need PHP 7.0 or better)
− GD graphics libary 2.0.1 or better
− No database needed, but kh_mod provides support for MySQL as of 4.1.7 (optional)

The installtion corresponds with MG2 0.5.1

1. Download the kh_mod script and unzip the file
2. Use FTP to create a folder on your website, eg. http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/
3. Upload the content of unziped file (including subfolders) to the new folder
4. Use FTP to set permissins of the directories 'pictures', 'data' and 'data/backup' to chmod 770 (in kh_mod 0.1.0 instead 'data' set the root director, e.g. 'gallery', to 770).
5. Point your webbrowser to http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/
6. Now, follow the installation wizard
7. Enjoy with kh_mod

In order to use MySQL enter into the file '/includes/mg2admin_sqlstart.php' the data of your MySQL server. Then do create a new MySQL database with the entered name, e.g. with phpMyAdmin. Afterwards, you have to select MySQL in 'Options | Data' under the option 'Switch database'. If you get now the message 'Switch to MySQL OK', four (0.3.x) or eight (0.4.x) new tables should be created on the mg2db MySQL database with the corresponding data records:

– mg2db_folders (or mg2db_fdatabase before kh_mod 0.4.0)
– mg2db_items (or mg2db_idatabase before kh_mod 0.4.0)
– mg2db_settings
– mg2db_counter
– mg2db_chronicle (as of kh_mod 0.4.0)
– mg2db_splashes (as of kh_mod 0.4.0)
– mg2db_keywords (as of kh_mod 0.4.0)
– mg2db_item_keyword (as of kh_mod 0.4.0)

Important: If you run several gallery scripts on the same web server, than each gallery needs its own sql database or, as of kh_mod 0.4.9, its own table prefix (see file 'config/sql_startconfig.php').

In order to use the update you need a installation of kh_mod on your web server!

1. First you should save your database in the admin area 'Options | Database'
2. Then delete ALL files and directories of your gallery, except:
   – Image directory 'pictures'
   – Data directory 'data' (if exists)
   – File: mg2_settings.php (if exists)
   – File: mg2db_fdatabase.php
   – File: mg2db_idatabase.php
   – File: mg2_log.txt (if exists)
   – File: database.txt (if exists)
   
3. Use FTP to upload all files from the archiv 'kh_mod_0410.zip' to the gallery directory on your webserver.
4. Well, now point your webbrowser e.g. to: https://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/mg2_update.php this will update your settings and database for kh_mod 0.4.10
5. In the end you can install still further adapted skins.
   Skins for MG2 0.5.1 or kh_mod < 0.4.0 rc1 are not compatible with kh_mod 0.4.10!
6. And now, enjoy the new functions of kh_mod 0.4.10

In order to use the update file you need a installation of MG2 0.5.0/0.5.1, kh_mod 0.1.0 or 0.2.0 b1 on your web server! (for kh_mod 0.2.0b or above: Do read the instructions of '/docs/readme.txt' in the update archive.)

1. First you should save your database in the admin area 'Options | Database'
2. Then delete ALL files and directories of your gallery, except:
   – Image directory 'pictures'
   – mg2_settings.php
   – mg2db_fdatabase.php
   – mg2db_idatabase.php
   – mg2_log.txt
   – database.txt (ClickCounter - optional)
   – cComment.php (CommentCounter - optional)
3. Use FTP to upload all files from the archiv 'kh_mod_024_update.zip' to the gallery directory on your web server.
4. Well, now point your web browser e.g. to: http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/mg2_update.php this will update your settings and databases for kh_mod 0.2.4
5. In the end you need an adapted skin for your gallery, if you update from an older version than kh_mod 0.2.0 b2
   Skins for MG2 0.5.1 or kh_mod 0.1.0 are not compatible with kh_mod 0.2.0/0.2.4!
6. And now, enjoy the new functions of kh_mod 0.2.4

In order to use the update file you need a installation of MG2 0.5.1 or kh_mod 0.1.0 b2/b3 on your web server!

1. First you should save your database in the admin area 'Options | Database'
2. Download the update file for kh_mod 0.1.0pl1' and unzip the archiv
3. Use FTP to upload the content of unziped file (including subfolders) to your gallery, all files have to overwrite. But, your database and settings will not be changed!
4. Well, now point your web browser, e.g. to http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/mg2_update.php this will adapt your settings for kh_mod only.
5. In the end you need an adapted skin for your gallery, if you update from an older version than kh_mod 0.1.0 b3
6. And now, enjoy the new functions of kh_mod 0.1.0pl1
